TechMatrix

Research

The TechMatrix maintains a database of research on the use of technology to support instruction. Find 201 published articles, categorized by topic, with research-based suggestions and cutting-edge strategies for improving students’ learning with technology. The database is updated regularly as new studies are located and published. Note that these articles often report on general technology features or uses, not on specific products. Therefore, consider how the use of the type of technology discussed can support students’ learning. For inclusion in the database, research must:

- be published in 1990 or later;
- report student data (as opposed to purely theoretical information);
- report on a technology-based intervention or experience;
- consider students with disabilities and those who struggle with learning and achievement; and
- be published in English and represent a US-like schooling experience.
